Captain Case Nova, defender of Earth, is the finest space captain in the entire Galactic Exploratory Fleet! Along with his crew, Atomo, Dr. Mazeltov, Jane Florence and Chip Mathers, they venture into the uncharted depths of the galaxy in their nuclear-powered rocket ship, the GEF Supernova. 

Captain Nova and his crew originate from a place known as Galaxy 1-950-B. Located in a parallel dimension to San Palillo, Galaxy 1-950-B is a place where life is exactly like the futures predicted in 1950's B-Movies. Spacemen zoom around the universe in rocket ships and giant robots roam free. Houses are fully automated and cars can fly. It's a wondrous place, until one day, a dimensional rift opened and sucked Captain Nova's rocket ship into San Palillo.
